Brief introduction

    Sichuan Rural Science and Technology Development Center (SRSTDC), one of the institutions directly under the governance of Science and Technology Bureau of Sichuan Province, was established and initiated in Dec. 2005.
    As a public platform for serving the management of science and technology in the countryside of Sichuan Province, SRSTDC shall, under the lead of Science and Technology Bureau of Sichuan Province, perform its duties in 5 major areas. First, the Center shall collaboratively manage agricultural items of science and technology or entrusted work, and then the center shall organize the implementation of Spark Plan. In addition, we shall provide service for the management of crucial and specific agricultural items of science and technology. Finally, we shall organize agricultural training for science and technology and conduct paramount strategic studies in agricultural area of Sichuan Province and enhance cooperation with other Provinces, Nations and/or Regions.
    The major idea of SRSTDC is “servicing science and technology, providing solutions to agriculture, countryside and farmers in Sichuan Province collaboratively and creatively”. We are encircled by a young and professional team with high educations, which is devoting to the development of rural science and technology in Sichuan Province. Besides the center is closely surrounded by a large number of advanced specialists in various fields across Sichuan Province and the whole nation.
    In the future, we are eager to establish relations with new institutions, organizations, corporations and peoples, and we enthusiastically hope we can jointly strengthen our relationships with the present institutions, organizations, corporations and specialists all over the country. We strongly believe that we shall and will do much more work for the development of rural science and technology, provincially and nationally.
